Albergue El Socorro: 1000 meter above sealevel and in the village of La Colonia Virgen del Socorro is situated Albergue El Socorro. The village itself is a 30-minute drive with a 4WD from the busstop and is approximately two hours by car or bus from San José.

You can find the accommodations on the grounds of an ecological farm in the middle of a primary forest, a beautiful place to stay, to observe nature, especially all the wonderful birds.
