Bird-watching

This property is ideal for birding.  Visitors will have the opportunity to see over 200 species of birds in their natural habitat.  There are over five kilometers of trail which can be navigated with help from our guide, or on your own with our unique trail map.

Hiking

The trails can also be explored by foot.  Simply take your map and plot a route through the rainforest.     Make sure you bring your trekking or rubber boots.

Horseback riding

If you are interested in a less strenuous tour of the farm, you have the option to take a guided horseback tour.  This is a great way to give your feet a rest and still see the magnificent forest and fabulous animals.  There are four horses for you to choose from.  Hold on to your hat for a ride you are sure to remember!

Farm Activities

During your stay here, you can participate or witness the life of an authentic Costa Rican farm.  Work on the farm includes:   milking the cows, making fresh dairy products, feeding the farm animals, and taking your pick from delicious produce out of the organic garden.

Meals

Here at the farm we offer three complete typical Costa Rican meals each day along with coffee and baked goods at 4pm.  One unique feature we offer is homemade dishes with fresh milk from our dairy, along with fresh cheese, yogurt, and many other delicious items. Vegetarian dishes can be arranged as well. 

Laundry

Do not be scared to get a little dirty on the farm because laundry service is free!
