Who are we?

The property of Albergue El Socorro was founded on April 27th, 1957 by Antonio Miranda.  It was inherited by Jose Miranda and his family in 1999. Jose Miranda owns and maintains the property with his wife Maria Isabel and three daughters, Marianela, Ana Isabel, and Maria Jose.  The Miranda family has a strong desire for nature and the conservation of natural habitats. They have dedicated their time and their property to preserve the land and practice sustainable eco-tourism.   In addition to tourism, the family operates a small dairy which supplies the community with fresh organic milk.
